If you know you need storage longer than that, maybe year-round or even unexpectedly, it’s best to play it safe and rent a temperature controlled unit. The weather is unpredictable, so you want to make sure that their kept safe short and long term.
Where do you plan to store?
Depending on what part of the world you plan to rent a storage unit is another essential factor in choosing a temperature controlled unit.
Extreme heat can cause warping to certain items. Be mindful if you’re storing in the Southwest, Southeast or the Midwest regions.
